Artsmark
What is it?
Arts Council England's Artsmark is a national award which recognises and rewards schools that have made a strong commitment to the full range of the arts. The award promotes and spreads good practice on how to provide the arts in education, gives young people more opportunities to access the arts and encourages schools, arts organisations and artists to work together.
Lambeth has one of the highest number of Artsmark schools in the country. Currently 43% of the borough's schools have achieved this kite mark, over 50% at the highest level. If your school would like to work towards achieving this award please contact arts@lambethclc.org.uk for information and guidance.
