About Us
Who we are
Our aim is to inspire children, young people, parents, carers, and school staff to learn in new ways through arts, culture and the use of innovative technology. Our team is made up of teachers, technical innovators, artists, filmmakers and family learning tutors.
What we do
Lambeth City Learning Centre supports all schools in the Local Authority in arts and culture, technology and family learning activities. We offer workshops and projects, train school staff, broker partnerships with specialists and offer ideas, information, advice and guidance in each of the three areas. A lot of our work combines arts and culture, the use of innovative technology and working with families, but this site can be searched using each separate heading; arts, technology and family learning.
Who we work with
We work with children and young people who live or go to school in the London Borough of Lambeth, with their parents and carers and with staff in Lambeth schools. Our partners include colleagues in Lambeth Children and Young People's Service, CfBT Education Trust, South Bank Cultural Quarter and local Lambeth cultural organisations, Lambeth College, and A New Direction. We are currently in residence at BFI Southbank and collaborate with the BFI Education team on many projects.
